Realtor, Schmealtor

UGGGGGG!! We are two months into selling our house and we've hit a bump. Well, kinda...we like our realtor, but she has been on two "vacations" since we signed on with her and really hasn't done that much for us. We picked her because she was referred to us by another realtor. Part of me thinks that we aren't on a priority list since our house is listed under $150,000. Our "schmealtor" has printed two batches of fliers for our info box outside the house and sent out one email flyer to other realtors. That's it! No mention of her actually bringing in people to look. Where's my listing in one of those little magazines???! I know I pick those up even if I am not looking for a place. Maybe my expectations are too high, but damn we need something!!!
This really has me thinking I should go into the real estate business and sell my own house. Mike and I search the web and find unique ideas, but our realtor doesn't seem receptive. Sure its a tough market, but not so tough that she can't beef it up a notch.
So if you are interested in a cute, little house near the lake, let me know! I'll sell it to you.

1. I HATE feet. I can handle my kids feet, but only until they are 9.
2. I love to crochet and don't mind being called a grandmaw for it.
3. My favorite food is corn. Always has been, always will be.
4. I secretly enjoy the fact that I am crafty creative and that all my friends come to me for advice on how to do stuff from throwing parties to breastfeeding babies!!!
5. I love having big boobs. There I said it.
6. I am rekindling a love for shoes and clothes. I am so over buying shit for everyone but me.
7. I never graduated from college and that's ok. Mike didn't require it for me to marry him and have his children!

Under the Influence

I read other people's blogs but have never really thought about starting one of my own. After reading one of a dear "inter-friend" I was intrigued. I let her know I had read her blog and she suggested I start my own. So here I am writing my first blog. I am under the influence of friends and my husband. I am not sure what in the world I'll write about, but I am an observant person and love to spill dirt.
